The Coyotes went into Kamloops on Wednesday night and were able to take two games from the Wolfpack.
In game one Will Russell went 8 shutout innings before passing the ball to Wyatt Hummel who finished off the game surrendering one run. At the plate thet Coyotes were led by Logan Wedgewood and Jake Fischer.
In the night cap the Coyotes worked from behind over the first four innings spotting the Wolfpack a 9-1 lead. Dan Morris, Braden McCready and Wyatt Hummel would throw 5 scoreless innings while the Coyotes fought back at the plate. Jared Frew was 4-5 with 3 homeruns and 6 RBI. Eventually the game would finish 14-9 as the Coyotes were able to capitalize at the plate.
Next up for the Coyotes is a weekend series with the TRU Wolfpack starting on Saturday at Elks Stadium at Noon. Sunday the Coyotes will head back to Kamloops for a 1:00pm double header. Currently this fall the Coyotes are 16-2
