2018 Schedule Announced

The 2018 schedule has been released and features 58 games starting February 9th and completing May 14th in Kamloops.

The Coyotes will make their annual trip to the desert where they will face some excellent competition.  Three teams on their schedule have been named to the Perfect Game Preseason rankings,  #4 College of Southern Nevada, # 7 Central Arizona College, # 12 Yavapai College.

“We try and schedule the best competition as possible, and our preseason trip provides us with an opportunity to see that.” says Head Coach Geoff White. “Of the 14 games on Nevada and Arizona there isn’t a break in the schedule, its a serious challenge physically, but it is all worth it.”

After coming home the Coyotes will face an opponent they have not faced in 10 years.   Whalley Stadium will host the Coyotes against the Douglas College Royals.   The Royals are a junior college that play in the North West Athletic Conference which is based in Washington State and Oregon.

The Coyotes will then wrap up their non conference schedule at home in Elks Stadium, March 16-18 weekend against Edmonton.  Then the regular season will open March 24-25th weekend against the reigning champions the Prairie Baseball Academy from Lethbridge, AB.

“We will be excited to get back home and get ready for conference schedule, and to play the previous champion out of the gate will be a good test for us.” adds White.  The Coyotes will only face the PBA Dawgs the opening weekend and not see them again until playoffs.

The CCBC Regular season will feature 30 games against the 5 other league opponents, UFV Cascades, VIU Mariners, TRU Wolfpack, UofC Dinos, PBA Dawgs.
