CSN Tops Coyotes

The Coyotes came back through Las Vegas February 15th and squared off with the # 4 College of Southern Nevada.  Trevor Brigden (Junior, RHP, Toronto, ON) took the ball for his first start of the season and battled a scrappy CSN lineup that scored 3 runs off of him.  Aiden Mordecai (Soph, RHP, Langley, BC) would come on in relief and throw well going 4 innings only giving up 1 unearned run.  Nick Lee (Fr, RHP, Victoria, BC) would throw a scoreless inning.

The offense would be lead by Trevor Mlait (Fr, OF, West Kelowna, BC) whos two out 2 RBI single would put the Coyotes down by 1 in the top of the 6th.  CSN pitchers were able to keep the Coyotes lineup off balance and limited them to just 6 hits.

“I thought we pitched well and made the plays defensively that should have been made.  A couple of small details ended up hurting us in the end with a pass ball for a run and a balk that put two runners in scoring position that would end of scoring.” says Head Coach Geoff White.

The Yotes will face off again against CSN today at 3:00pm and 6:00pm , both games have live play by play at csncoyotes.com
