The # 1 seed Okanagan College Coyotes claimed their second CCBC National title over the # 2 Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs in the championship game at the 2022 Canadian College World Series. The PBA Dawgs would battle in three elimination games to reach the final, while the Coyotes won three straight to advance to the championship game, where they had to be beaten twice.

The Coyotes would lean on senior right handed pitcher Chris Wyslobocki (Etobicoke, ON) for his last start in a Coyotes uniform. Wyslobocki would go 8 shutout innings in just 79 pitches while Coyotes right field Nolan King (Regina, SK) hit a 2 run blast in the 6th to give the Coyotes a little breathing room. 2 runs would be added in the bottom of the 8th on sacrifice flies by Nolan King, and Clark Swift to push the score to 5-0 heading into the 9th. Freshman Corey Lawson (Calgary, AB) for the Yotes would come on a shut the door in the final frame.

This is the second National title for the Coyotes, along with winning the 2021 Fall Championship with a perfect record which took place due to missing the 2021 spring from COVID.
