The Coyotes pitching staff led the CCBC in nearly every category in 2022. The Coyotes set the single season record in Strikeouts with 301, only walked 90 batters and had a 3.05 ERA. In order to repeat their 2022 success the staff will need to rely on all available arms. After losing several big arms due to graduation, the 2023 Coyotes starting rotation will look much different. The Coyotes pride themselves on the depth they have at all positions especially on the mound. A mixture of returners and freshman will look to dominate for the Coyotes in 2023.
Junior Gavin Wuschke had a strong 2022 season appearing in 9.2 innings with 15 strikeouts out of the bullpen. He will be given a large role and is expected to be a leader on the staff. The Regina product is ready for big year after displaying a fastball that can run up to 91mph.
Junior Cory Lawson comes into the 2023 season as the reigning CCBC Reliever of
The Year. In 18.1 innings, Lawson added 23 strikeouts and a 0.49 era. Lawson will look to build off a very successful 2022 season and help pave the way for the Coyotes in 2023.
Sophomore Koal Erixon is another arm that the Coyotes will lean on to play a big role
for the squad. Erixon appeared in 6 games throwing 14.1 innings with 15 strikeouts and just 3 walks. Erixon is a hard worker both on and off the field, with the ability to compete in any situation he is thrown into.
Senior Sean Dunn is a versatile arm for the Coyotes who has appeared in the bullpen as well as being used as a starter in his career. His ability to pitch in any situation will truly be an asset for the Coyotes.

Looking to play a large role and throw important innings for the team is Zander Oudie-Senger. Oudie-Senger attacks hitters and has the ability to command all pitches, along with a strong fastball. Teagan Ribbink has made great strides on the mound with the potential to be a top arm for the Coyotes in 2023.
The Coyotes will enjoy the brother duo of Maris and Easton Brons. The Saskatoon
natives are both absolute competitors on the mound, ready to attack hitters at the plate. Maris enters his 3rd season as a member of the Coyotes, while, Easton looks forward to beginning his freshman season.
The Coyotes pitching staff includes several two-way players. These players are the
complete package and offer the ability help both on the mound and at the plate. Matthew Jennings enters his freshman season and will look to continue to produce on both sides of the ball. Ryan Powers is a young two-way who has shown great growth and will look to prove himself in the 2023 season. Freshman Ryder Roberts has shown his ability to get hitters out in his short time as a Coyote, the 2023 season will be a great opportunity for Roberts to continue working on his craft. Brady Robin has kept hitters guessing, in his freshman season. Robin has shown the ability to throw strikes and get hitters out. Lyndon Sinclair is a local product who has thrown well early in his Coyotes career. Lyndon has the ability to blow past hitters with a plus fastball. Entering his second season Ethan Skiffington enjoyed some success at the varsity level in 2022. Skiffington will look to build off of last year be a key contributor for the team this
spring. Anthony Wyslobocki played a key part on the offensive side of the ball in 2022, this season he will be looked upon to throw quality innings and shut down opposing hitters.
Entering the 2023 season the Coyotes have several young arms that will undoubtedly
be the key to success for years to come. Mason Fichter is a young arm who has continued to improve and has shown his ability to get hitters out. Corbin Mossop is another freshman who has flashed some great stuff during his first year as a Coyote. Mossop will look to translate a strong winter into a positive result on the mound this spring.

Cementing the 2023 pitching staff will be this years senior class Brennen Flodin, gives a
unique look to hitters on the mound with his ability to change arm slots. He will continue to be an important arm for the Coyotes. Brett Melanson will look to play a pivotal role for the team this year coming out of the bullpen. Melanson will look to lock things down on the mound. Jack Suhai is a workhorse who demands the most from himself and his teammates. Suhai will look to continue his success out of the bullpen. Noah Zenkewich is another arm that will look for a bigger role. Zenkewich has demonstrated great pitches and always gives hitters a tough at bat. Connor Robbins is a crafty lefty who pounds the strict zone. His ability to throw any pitch in all counts makes him very effective. Mason Chamberlain is a guy that fills the zone. Chamberlain does a great job keeping hitters off-balance and mixing all pitches.
It is definitely safe to say that the Coyotes are in good hands on the mound. They will look to continue their success and achieve the goal of a 2023 CCBC Championship
